I will overwhelm 'serious fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
